Dr Katy Leung Ying Ying is Associate Professor at Duke-NUS Medical School, and Senior Consultant of the department of Rheumatology & Immunology of Singapore General Hospital (SGH). Dr Leung graduated from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, where she was trained as rheumatologist and appointed as honorary assistant professor from 2008 – 2011. She joined SGH in 2011, and currently is the head of research in the department of Rheumatology and Immunology, SGH.
Dr Leung started her research work in psoriatic arthritis. Her works included disability, and evaluation of measurement instruments in rheumatology. Recent years, her focus is on role of inflammation and biomarkers in osteoarthritis. She has been working group member of several international collaborations in outcome measures, including the Group of Research and Assessment in Psoriasis and Psoriatic Arthritis (GRAPPA) and International Consortium for Health Outcome Measurements (ICHOM).
