Abstract guidelines

Outlined below is detailed information to assist speakers with preparing their presentations for APLAR 2020. 

All abstract notifications have now been sent, if you have not received your notification letter, please check your junk/spam folders to see if the email was directed straight there.

Invited speakers

Invited speakers are speakers who have been invited to participate in the official APLAR 2021 | Full Virtual Congressprogram. 

Presentation guidelines
We have prepared detailed invited speaker guidelines to assist you with preparing your presentation. Please ensure that you read these guidelines carefully. 

Presentation template
It is required that all presentations are prepared using the invited speaker template. *Please note this is a specific template for invited speakers*

Presentation length
Presentation times differ depending on which invited session you are involved in and this has been confirmed to all speakers by the Program Manager. 

Presentation format
All presentations must be pre-recorded (slides, video and audio only), with speakers available for the duration of the session to participate in live Q&A.

Live oral program presentation speakers

Live oral program speakers are speakers who submitted an abstract for review and have been accepted into the program as live oral program speakers. 

Presentation guidelines
We have prepared detailed guidelines to assist you with preparing your presentation. Please ensure that you read these guidelines carefully. 

Presentation template
It is required that all presentations are prepared using the official APLAR template. 

Presentation length
The presentation length for these presentations is 5 minutes and then a further 3 minutes for Q&A with the attendees. 

Presentation format
All presentations must be pre-recorded (slides and audio only), with speakers available for the duration of the session to participate in live Q&A.

Poster presentation speakers

Poster presentation speakers are speakers who submitted an abstract for review and have been accepted into the program as poster presentation speakers.

Presentation template
It is required that all posters are prepared using the official APLAR template. 

Presentation format
Poster presentations have two components:

  1. Poster presentation using the official template
  2. Poster audio file
